Table lamps and chandeliers of this period - true candelabras are truly a challenge to wire because they were originally designed for candles and have no wire ways in the cups, bobesches, and bodies. Drilling holes in fixtures of the caliber and age is not an option… Aurora has come up with a method of wiring which is next to invisible, requires no holes to be drilled and is completely reversible.

Wires are sheathed in a jacket that can be painted to match the surface to which it is attached. As the wire runs along a gold surface, the sheathing is painted gold. If it runs over a dark bronze surface, it is painted dark bronze to match. It is a time consuming process because it order to be the least visible the wire has to be carefully tied down wherever there is a corner or contour with a clear monofilament material.

Although the 'flicker candle' technology used is incredibly authentic looking, the bulbs , like candles, do not give off a lot of light. They create a mood and ambiance so real, it is hard to believe. As the current runs through them, an electromagnetic pulse is produced and the 'flame' moves as if a soft breeze blew in from outside. In order to augment the light in the room and to show off more of the crystals, a ring was added to the inside of the chandelier to house 15 watt low voltage xenon lamps.
