Tillett Lighting Design designed a fixture that embraced simplicity and functionality for the 19th-century Quaker Meeting House in Manhattan. Aurora fabricated the fixtures in 2001.

Dimmable fluorescent light sources are invisible in the top of the fixtures causing panes of the restoration glass to glow. The design succeeded in embracing simplicity and functionality, inherent in the Quaker philosophy.
