| DETAILS | Orest is a native of Lviv, Ukraine where he studied electronics. He grew up around antiques, assisting his father who was a master craftsman. He has worked on many European institution restorations, as well as projects here in New York City at the World Trade Center and at Grand Central Station. His favorite restorations at Aurora have been the most recently completed Eldridge Street Synagogue as well as the Wrightsman Gallery at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Orest was responsible for the fabrication of missing pieces and parts needed for these restorations. |
