DETAILS For over twenty-five years Dawn has presided over every project at Aurora Lampworks. She achieved her initial goal with Aurora of putting together a team that enjoys working together and takes pride in their work. She is honored that her and her team are entrusted with the restoration of often sacred, cultural antiques. Dawn's favorite project thus far is the Eldridge Street Synagogue restoration. Not only because of the scope of what was restored, but because of the amazing community surrounding the Synagogue who were so appreciative of Aurora's work. Aside from her work with Aurora, Dawn is on the Board of Directors at the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary in Woodstock, NY. Dawn plans to enroll in a Humane Education Program at Harvard School. In doing so, she hopes to speak more on animal, human, and earth rights and work more with farm animal related issues. Dawn's personal art includes a one-woman show at Bridges Bodell Gallery, featured in Art in America as well as having contributed a piece to the Incarnations exhibit in DUMBO. Dawn's goal for the company is to become the most highly skilled group of artisans in the world of lighting restoration.
